Ziad Moussa is a multi-disciplinary development professional with a confirmed track record in the design and management of participatory development projects, and with a particular focus on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).
Mr. Moussa consulted and/or trained on short, medium and long term basis in various development projects covering the entire Middle East and North Africa countries (Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen), in addition to most of the European countries involved in the Euro-Med process (Belgium, France, Greece, Italy and Turkey) working directly with international donors such as IDRC, IFS, UNDP, IFAD and FAO or through EU and US based consultancy firms such as ECODIT, TRANSTEC, Louis Berger, ACDI-VOCA,… He also facilitated strategic planning seminars and multi-stakeholders networking and advocacy events in well over 30 countries across the five continents in a variety of development and intercultural topics.
The recent work of Mr. Moussa has been focused on providing M&E services to large-scale development projects and strategic planning initiatives, while his research interests were geared towards the adaptation and translation to Arabic of participatory M&E methodologies such as Most Significant Change and Outcome Mapping and the systematization of social change processes in the MENA and the MEDA contexts.
